Wouldn’t go back to this hotel . After a stressful journey you just want to get into your room fast .Check in was very slow , something about the system not working but staff did not show much urgency about fixing the problem and were not very apologetic.
Buffet breakfast was disappointing , not a very fulsome choice of food , e.g no fried eggs, surely a breakfast staple ? Choice for continental breakfast was particularly poor.
In addition , we came back to the room at 5 pm one day having been out all day to find the chambermaid had just started cleaning our room . We had to trudge back downstairs and wait in the lobby for another 15 minutes .
The room itself was a bit shabby and in need of upgrading . No drawers or shelves - where are you expected to store jumpers , socks, underwear , phone chargers jewellery etc ?
The location is also not good for sights , restaurants etc apart from being near the station Not a great experience.
