It might be nice to have complimentary bottled water in the room as a result. There was a big issue with the parking. The validated ticket I had paid for wouldn't let me out. I went back to the hotel and was told to pay again and he'd credit my account. I thought I misheard him... I was told an emailed receipt would be sent to me on checkout. I'm still waiting for that, so I'll have to call the hotel for a receipt."

It's a Victorian home built by a shipbuilder in the 1800s. There's something pretty special about staying somewhere with that much history. The comfort matched the character of the place, and the homemade baking alone is worth the visit. When I had to leave before the crack of dawn to catch a flight, there was a box waiting for me with a packed breakfast that prompted strangers in the airport to ask me where it came from. Mahone Bay is a gem of a town, and this place sits right in the heart of it. Honestly, I'd go back without a second thought."
