Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. "A broken toe cut our hiking trip short, and we arrived at Brook Manor Lodge about 10:00am, hoping to stow are luggage. Even though check-in was scheduled to be at 4:00pm, the owner took pity on us. Within 15 minutes she had moved us from an upstairs room to a first floor suite so we wouldn't have to deal with stairs, and she let us check in right away. The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended!"
