"As of May 2026, this hotel had no gym. We stayed there 5 nights. For a Five star hotel, we were expecting it to have a Gym facility. We were not told that they had none prior to reservation. If this is important to you, look elsewhere. Otherwise, a good room In good location, but five star only in the name."

Hotel Acta Moa- New Opening

"Clean room & great gym. Location isn’t great for walking, a bit out of the way but very close to the train line which is easy to use. Unfortunately the pool area was underwhelming and poorly maintained, the pictures are very misleading. Parking was confusing- extremely difficult to find. we were told by front desk that parking was run by a separate company, when we went to that company they said no they don’t offer parking to hotel guests. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a fire alarm going off for several minutes. On our last day on our way to check out we got stuck in the elevator for 35min which was terrifying. Front desk told us “that happens sometimes” which I find concerning! It was one of the cheaper options we found, and was modern and clean, but overall this seems like too many inconveniences/ things that went wrong for me to recommend it."

"Great hotel. Clean room, helpful staff and good location, if a little further away from touristy old town. One thing to consider is that the parking is accessible only through a car elevator, which is quite snug. We drove a fiat 500 and it barely fit so if you drive into town, don’t bring an SUV. Other than that no complaints."
