You can’t beat the location. It’s central to all the neighborhoods in downtown Lisbon, main train line is just a 5 min walk, and it feels safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that could have made it better would be a pool but that said, there’s not much time for poolside relaxing when you’re out touring the city.

Certainly not a 5 Star....More like a good 3 Star or a poor 4 Star. Plugs for connecting devices almost non existent. Lobby had a smell. Gym was terrible.

Unexpectedly disappointed with customer service , housekeeping and the hotel itself. The hotels is well worned. The lift was always taking guests to the wrong level. The towels are grey colour like they are 100 years old. What upset me most. I left for meeting and put the “ do not disturb “ sign. Because I put my medicine in order to be taken on my pillow. As well as my clothes for another meeting. When I arrived I saw housekeeper moved everything. So the signed was completely ignored. I tried to call reception. The phone did not work. I had to go down and complained for both housekeeping and the phone. After that no e even bothered to come and apologize or check the phone. Moreover , check out is at 12 pm. I came from shopping at 11.25 to learn the my cards were disactivated. I went down and was told all cards are disactivated on check out day. To my question why as it was not even 12.00 noon. He did not answer. Unbelievable experience for such chain. Shame to be called SOFITEL 5 *.

Very nice staff who mostly fulfilled requests. A double shot martini for 34 Euros seemed demotivating for other drinks.

This hotel is outstanding! The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are a super comfortable (the beds are a dream!), and the bathroom amenities were generous. Diptique lotions and potions are my favorite! The bartender gave me a lesson about port wine, and each evening we found chsmomile tea ready to brew before bed. Can’t recommend Sofitel highly enough!
