Good value for money, due to very central situation. Only issue would be the luke warm coffee at breakfast each morning, possibly the breakfast trays are pre-prepared earlier than the booked time?

Pleasant stay, great location

Really pleasant staff, friendly welcome, smart and clean (our room on 1st floor seemed to have had a recent revamp, totally new bathroom). Hotel has character, great location too. They did their absolute best to compensate for lack of airco with fans and anti mosquito plug-in, etc! No view unfortunately, just a wall.

This is a nice hotel. It is very convenient for the city centre, but you get what you pay for. It was an economical choice and that shows. I stayed for two nights and that was fine. Longer, and I would have unhappy. It may have just been my room, but I would hear everyone else’s plumbing, whether that was shower at one in the morning, or a bath at five in the morning, hence, not much sleep. But overall, if you are looking for a cheap, city centre hotel, I would recommend this one.

I would highly recommend this property. I had gotten stuck at the train station (and had a very bad day) and booked the hotel late at night. When I got there the man behind the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. He offered me a room upgrade and the bed was so so comfy after a long day. The room was beautiful with nice art and detailing (wall paper, bathroom tile and fixtures). Additionally, I needed a toothbrush (because my bag was lost on a bus) and some band aids for blisters on my feet and they provided them kindly. The following day they let me work from the breakfast room on my laptop so I could enjoy the lovely views of the Cathedral across the street. Needless to say this hotel was the best part of my journey.

Très sympa pour un court séjour dans Vieux-Lille

- Emplacement 5/5: A deux pas de la gare et à proximité immédiate du Vieux-Lille. Les abords de la gare souffrent parfois d'une fréquentation problématique mais ça ne pose pas de problème aux heures de grand passage. - Accès 5/5: facile à trouver, possède un (petit) ascenseur. - Accueil 5/5: Equipe sympathique et attentionnée. - Propreté 5/5: Espaces communs et chambre nickel à tout moment. - Literie 4,5/5: Matelas et oreillers très confortables. Si besoin, couvertures extras sont fournies. Seul point d'attention : le lit double est relativement petit (sûrement du 140x90). C'est une taille acceptable mais les grands gabarits risquent de se sentir légèrement à l'étroit. Ça reste parfait pour un court séjour. - Chambre 4,5/5: la chambre standard sur rue sans vis-à-vis, donnant directement sur l'église est vraiment au top! Elle est un peu petite et les rangements sont peu nombreux mais pour un court séjour c'est très bien. D'autres équipements peuvent être mis à disposition sur demande. - Salle de bains 4/5: Très fonctionnelle et lumineuse, la pression de l'eau est parfaite et les équipements sont de qualité et en excellent état. Sa forme en longueur en fait une petite salle de bains bien optimisée. Les seuls points faibles sont la porte en accordéon et les bruits d'écoulement d'eau. - Insonorisation (2/5) : Seule ombre au tableau. Bruits venant du couloir car portes anciennes qui claquent fort et n'isolent pas du bruit. Globalement très bon rapport qualité-prix. Bon séjour !
