Aesthetically, it had a wonderful old world feel. You can tell they are still working on getting the hotel to where they want it but the details in place already are great. I loved the ipads coupled with the rotary phone in the room. The steakhouse downstairs while closed the 2 days we were there was closed really made me want to eats there. (Silk’s) The attention to detail is really strong draw for this hotel. I would definitely book here again. Comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom linens that are thick but also absorbent. The cans of electrolyte water in the room is nice also. The coffeebar downstairs was fun with different syrups you could add including salted caramel. Amsden cafe and bourbon bar are an easy walk down the street. Loved the street the hotel was on that offered lots of shops I would love to have wandered i to, but keep in mind that most are closed Sunday and Monday. But all of that just makes me want to go back if I can afford it. While not cheap to stay here, I expect their prices could go up after they get their hotel build out complete with their rooftop bar and all the projects complete. It was a really lovely stay. I would like to go back.

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown with its own restaurant and bar. Excellent staff that always went above and beyond for us. A vase of flowers and a thoughtfully created gift basket for our “Sister’s Trip” were waiting for us in our room, which felt so personalized and kind. We initially had a Double Queen room but found it to be too tight for 3 women that each had 2 suitcases. When we inquired about booking an additional room we were luckily able to be changed to two connecting rooms that had 1 King and 2 Queens to give us more space and a 2nd bathroom (additional charge for the extra room of course). It felt like a suite and had the cutest hunting/fishing theme! We also were lent a floor-length mirror and a clothing rack to store our Derby dresses. We met someone who knew the owners and were told that each room’s theme was carefully curated with many antique finds that are actually available to purchase. Very special place! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
