"The staff is very friendly and responsive. We needed some help after check in and they fulfilled all quickly and in a friendly manner. The room was clean. There is no fan. A/C was good but a fan in the sitting area would be good. The bathroom was clean but old looking. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and it was peaceful and safe. I stayed there with my family for the world cup match. The stadium was very near. We had a peaceful stay and its very value for the money"

"We stayed here for my husband's birthday weekend. I accidentally booked the wrong DoubleTree location and was pretty disappointed when we first arrived. However, as soon as I walked into the lobby and met Kyrus, I immediately felt better. Before our arrival, I reached out to the hotel to let them know we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful. They went out of their way to make the occasion special, and their kindness truly made our stay worthwhile. Breakfast was amazing every morning! The only downside is that this property feels outdated compared to other DoubleTree locations we've stayed at. Since we didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't complain, but the headboard looked like it had dried drips or stains ALL over it, and looked terrible. The toilet seat was also peeling pretty badly but looked like it had been painted over. Also, we were told we had to request housekeeping or they wouldn't come yet after we left for the morning they did. I didn’t put the placard outside of the door and probably should have so just mentioning but it was definitely unsettling. Our valuables were moved but still there…Thank God! Also the hallway and the elevators had a strong 420 odor that lingered throughout our stay. I believe there were several guest actively smoking in the areas. Overall, the outstanding customer service, especially from Kyrus and staff, made up for the shortcomings, and left us with a positive experience."

"We had an amazing time in Houston despite the heat and humidity! We stayed for six nights, and our stay was truly memorable. The Club Lounge was a wonderful place to relax after busy days exploring the city and attending the World Cup. We especially appreciated the variety of food choices, which changed daily, making each visit to the lounge something to look forward to. What made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. A special thank you to Kepa, Brayan, Heidi, Pierre, the door and valet staff, and the hotel drivers for going above and beyond. Your welcoming demeanor and warm smiles made us feel right at home. Our Junior Suite on the 20th floor was located next to the stairwell, which was a bit noisy because the stairwell door would often slam as guests or staff came and went. I was also surprised with the amount of helicopter activity there is in this area. We always travel with a sound machine app, which helped, but the noise was still noticeable at night. Despite those minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. :::"

The continental breakfast and other amenities make the stay quite enjoyable. Compared to similar hotels, the Crowne Plaza is affordable and inviting."
