Nice place in a small nice town. The hostel is linked to a nice restaurant pub and only a few minutes on walk for the Diamond Hill in the Connemara National Park

Clean and comfortable stay near beautiful sites

The accommodations were basic, but comfortable, quiet and clean. There is a definite hostel vibe here, however the room was private and included a rather small but functional bathroom. The guest breakfast area/lounge had plenty to eat and the brown bread was delicious. You are expected to clean your dishes afterwards, of course. There is an attached restaurant serving lunch and dinner. (It's also where you check-in.) We had a copious and enjoyable dinner there. There are other restaurants and pubs across the street and a medium-size grocery store with an ATM too. Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey are nearby and both are beautiful sites to visit. I would stay here again.

We had the room next to the common room. People were partying in the common room until 4am. The walls are paper thin. Common room should be closed at a certain time. Also, room key didn’t work sometimes, had to climb out the window to get out. Other than that, breakfast was decent, and staff were all fantastic.

Praktisch für eine Nacht auf dem Weg

Es ist ein HoStel und kein HoTel ☺ Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, jedoch knapp in der Grösse und auch wäre eine Renovation begrüssenswert. Löcher in der Badezimmertüre, alle Türen lassen sich nur schwer öffnen und auch sonst ziemlich verbraucht. Sicher gut wenn man eine günstige Übernachtung auf dem Weg sucht.

The staff was lovely and the room was in nice condition. Worth it for the price, and very convenient location for those who are visiting Connemara National Park as the hotel is within a two-minute walking distance to the entrance.

No recomiendo este hotel. Viejo, deteriorado, habitacion abarrotada de camas y sin espacio entre ellas. El personal desaparecido una vez cobrado y por adelantado antes de la estancia. Eso creo que fue lo mejor, que se esfumaran.

Great location and excellent food in the restaurant. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was minuscule! The common room was excellent with a well stocked kitchen and lots of variety for breakfast included. Highly recommend.

Great customer service

Good people and good accommodations for the price. Clean and comfortable. We did not have the breakfast. Heather and Nathan were very friendly. My son left his jacket in the room when we checked out and we had already returned to London before discovering this fact. We contacted Heather and she mailed the jacket home for us the next day. That is great customer service!
