"The Morgan is a low end, scammy hotel. When we arrived we were told the room was not available and were not able to check in until 6pm, at which point we were told the room we had booked was not available. We were told we would have to move to a smaller room for one night until our original room became available. After asking to speak to a manager, they 'kindly' offered to refund the difference, nothing else for the late check in, the incovenience of moving, or the fact we were in a room we did not choose to be in. The following day, when we were supposed to move rooms, our room was still not available but we were told we had to be out of the current room we were in and to store our bags in the lobby until it was available. We had to do all this ourselves, no help was offered by the staff. When we complained to the manager, he said the best he could do was refund the difference in the room which was $450, but checked my account after the visit and of course they had not refunded the amount so now I have to take it up. Generally the staff was pretty rude and any issues you had were an imposition. We had one member of our group that came back to his room in the evening to find the room was locked and was told by the front desk to 'go sleep in one of your friends room'. Another had no AC for the whole trip, and another came back to the hotel one night and his door was wide open. Don't stay here. Its an unprofessional scammy place, any other hotel is better value."
