I don’t think the property is used to having guests for short stays. It was a great spot for me to get in some amazing hikes and I loved having a kitchen to cook. The pillows were terrible- wish I had the luxury of bringing my own!

On paie le ménage en plus... Mais il semble que la serpillière ne soit pas comprise dans le prix: apportez des chaussons! Même pas un petit savon d'accueil... C'est bien dommage. Le 105 est au-dessus du jacuzzi... Évitez si vous voulez du calme!

Tips for novice Nemea users

2 bed self-catering apt a perfect size for family of 4. Adequate comfort for the price, which includes entitlement to private 30 minute slots on advanced reservation in the sauna/jacuzzi. In some self-catering apts basics like tea, coffee, oil, salt, pepper, washing up liquid are provided but here you get Old Mother Hubbard's bare cupboard. That's what we had expected though, so if you are travelling without a car, it's worth considering when packing. Also, cleaning materials like tea towels, sponges have to be supplied by the guest. All that aside, a perfect location for skiers, particularly if you are renting equipment from Inter-Sport, which is just around the corner, and the ski lifts at 'Le Lay' are also just a very short walk away. However, for nervous beginners, I'd recommend starting at the 'Loyers' slope. Take note of the limited hours reception is open and the extras you have to pay for. Overall, very satisfied.

Clan, Quiet apartment in great walking area

Stayed here for a late walking break in the Alps. The apartment was clean, tidy and spacious for one, but could have easily taken a family of four with its double bedroom and a bunk room. The apartments are in a complex 10 minutes walk from the centre of Les Contamines - when I was there in September the shops in the complex were closed as its a ski-ing resort really. Would recommend it for a quiet walking or sightseeing break, especially at the cheap low season rates.
