Reception staff incorrectly informed us where to park and is refusing to pay the fees incurred from their mistake.
Otherwise, the location is great and the rental store staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property from the start to end with staff interaction and hospitality were unprofessional and unwilling to be courteous. The property was poorly lit, dirty, and multiple things were broken. This included a door that could not lock, broken toilet lid, terrible smell in the apartment and soiled linens.

Would not stay here again. Disappointed with the communication from staff (check in took almost 30 minutes despite being prepaid). Can hear every single word spoken by your neighbors and out in the corridors.
Very basic room but that was reflected in the price when compared with other apartments.
Although from my balcony I could see into some other apartments that looked much nicer

Great Location. Very Basic Accomdation.
Great location. The accommodation is very basic, much more like a hostel than a hotel but has ski in and ski out facilities and is right at the heart of Val Throens.
The rooms have basic cooking facilities, microwave and dishwasher.
You have to make your own beds and towels are provided.
There is no luggage room on site, so you need to factor this in to your ski plans.
The on site restaurant is good and serves breakfast between 7.30 - 10. There is also an on-site supermarket with everything you need.
The hotel also benefits from on site ski hire.
There is a multi storey car park down the road, prices are reasonable and easily within walking distance.
So not a problem if you hire a car.

Overall, for the price and location, it was basic but fine.
Perfect location, inexpensive, and friendly staff. Extremely minimalist, they require you to clean the entire hotel before leaving and trash bins are a far away outside and down the road.
An on-slide ski resort. Complete appartments with new kitchen. Only 1 WC paper roll. Not problem with that but noticed.
Very noise. Young guys partying every day at the appartment next to you (It is usual).
Wanna party? Book. Wanna ski? Check another one.

What you pay for
It was a last minute booking, it was the only place left that was affordable. It is completely as expected for the price.
Ideal if you don't intend to stay indoors.
Hotel location is great for skiing but that's the only good thing. The room wasn't cleaned well and many things were broken or missing. WiFi didn't work at all. Revelries every night. Newer part is better but the old part is terrible.

Good Location!
Its old and not very pretty, but we where 3 guys traveling so that wasn't the most important thing! We booked it since it was the cheapest we could find.
The location is very good, on the right side so very easy to get to the slopes. Basically walk outside and youre in them!
Also very easy to get back to the hotel after skiing.
Also big pluss, supermarked in the hotel.

Beware this party hotel
I went to Val Thorens for a week of skiing. While the hotel needs some serious TLC, it is generally clean and the location is good for getting right on the slope. The location is at the end of Val Thorens, so if you intend to go out to the bars or restaurants each night you may want to go some place more central or up the hill.
My main complaint is that there is not telephone in the room. I am an extremely heavy sleeper, but was awoken on three nights by drunken kids running around, screaming or banking on doors. As there is no telephone in the room I finally got out of bed on the third night, put my clothes on and had to go to reception...but when I explained that I was upset because of the noise the staff seemed ambivalent about my problem. When I spoke to them again about my concerns at check-out, they blamed the problem on drunken British kids, rather than their sad excuse for security.
