Wonderful hotel in historic building that has been fully modernized. While the rooms are large and roomy even by U.S. Standards, they are too modern and don't fully reflect the history of the building. Overall, very good location and excellent stay. I think they just went a bit too far in modernizing it and left out some of the medieval and renaissance charm it once hand.

The hotel was perfect and a real wow factor when you first see it. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the old town, so great location. We arrived into Leon by train and there were no taxis, and a long line of people. We ended up walking to the hotel, as you cannot order a taxi to the station ( a very strange system) and no uber or bolt. Its only 20 minutes walk, but if you have a lot of luggage it may not be so easy
