The hotel is exquisite. My room, the junior suite, was moderately priced, and had a huge terrace with a lake view, as did the high-ceilinged room with a big arched window. The location is excellent. The host is very available and quickly answered questions. We had an issue with the hot water and she helped us resolve it within minutes. Great location and accommodation. The host communicated well. Just be aware that there is no elevator so luggage must be carried up a couple flights of stairs. Still worth it.

A quiet area of Lake Como. Villa Del Balbianello and Villa Carlotta is a must see. You can access any town in the area by ferry and at night come back to a quiet relaxing area. Restaurants by the lake side were very good and reasonable.
A beautiful area to visit if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, I would recommend having a car to explore the surrounding villas and towns.
