Nice hotel, rooms are comfy and modern — customized to todays standards, but without too much luxury. No fridge on the room, but that’s fine for me. Location is perfect. Parking was a little difficult dus to soccer festivities nearby. Overall a fine choice for good pricing at 85 EUR a night.

The room was clean and updated. We found that deciding to take advantage of their breakfast at the last minute was a problem due to limited capacity. We ended up eating elsewhere.

Unexpected gem

This hotel was an unexpected gem. It was perfect for a short two-night stay, but I could easily have stayed much longer. The central location near Nicolaikirche was phenomenal, close to many attractions and great restaurants. The train station was only a few minutes’ walk away. The room was modern and clean, and the air-conditioning was appreciated on the 90° days. The room did not have a cabinet or drawers, but there was ample room to hang garments. The bar next door is open late.

Staff were nice and location good. Room was small but not a problem for a single night. There was a lot of dust everywhere, in particular in the bathroom around the hairdryer. The bed was soft and the mattress sloped away. The pillows were probably the worst pillows I’ve tried to sleep on. Not old, just cheap. Some things shouldn’t be cheap. Pillows are one of those things. Breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely. I wouldn’t stay here again but I’m probably not the audience this hotel is looking for.

Modern and stylish hotel in the centre

Location and breakfast are a plus. The beds were however a bit warn out, so they were not that comfortable. Welcoming at the reception was professional and correct but without any personal touch or warmth.

Ok if you just sleep for a night or two

Very basic room facilities- no kettle or tea & coffee, little to no storage. Paper cups only. Room on 6th floor & uni offices opposite looked straight in - had to close curtains to dress or change.

Quiet room

Excellent sound proofing. Very close to elevators, but no chimes nor people heard once the door was closed. Also no sounds from neighbours or above. Only tenuous drum sounds when they were really going at it on the main road. Curtains do not completely block light, though.

Zentrale Lage in der Innenstadt, wenige Gehminuten vom Hbf entfernt. Oper, Gewandhaus, Musee, Lokale und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Zweckdienlich eingerichtete Zimmer, aber alles was man braucht und sauber. Das Personal ist immer freundlich. Immer gerne wieder.

Super Aufenthalt. Motel One Standard wie immer hervorragend. Sehr freundliches Personal vor allem beim Empfang zum Frühstück. Das Bett machte den Eindruck als sei es etwas durchgelegen, dennoch gemütlich und in gutem Zustand.
