Great little hotel with lots of history. Stayed there with International Kilkenny Chess Tournament was taking place. Was entertaining. 😁 The staff were really friendly and helpfull. Coffee could be stronger 😉 One request, You could identify parking before arrival. Make check-in easier.

Rooms are a little dated but spacious and clean, pub and restaurant attached are very handy.

From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean. We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930. Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window ...

Very nice inn in the countryside with a river flowing thru in the back. Quaint and quiet small village to walk around. The only complaint is that the floor is so old that it makes squeaking noises when walking in the room and the furniture is shaking
