"We chose the property because it has waterslides and for the location, based on that criteria it worked out very well for us. Negatives: the rooms are showing the property’s age. Our A/C wasn’t working, our safe needed new batteries, our TV didn’t work, and the TV remote needed new batteries. The elevator was broken when we arrived so we had to carry our luggage a very long distance to get to a working elevator. Positives: the elevator was working by the next morning. When we called maintenance for the safe and A/c they were quick to respond and courteous (we didn’t bother calling about the TV). The bed was comfy."

"The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms feel more like small apartments than traditional hotel rooms, and the overall quality of the property is very good. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively affected by unexpected fees and the check-in process. I reserved and paid for my room in advance through Expedia, but when I arrived, I was charged an additional $79 in fees that I was not expecting. This included a $20 parking fee just to park at the hotel where I was already staying. These additional charges should be communicated much more clearly during the reservation process. The check-in experience was even more disappointing. After checking in, the desk clerk asked if I would like a welcome packet and free coupons for local restaurants. I agreed and was directed to another counter. Instead of simply receiving the promised welcome information and coupons, I was immediately given a sales pitch for a timeshare. I found this approach misleading and unnecessary. Guests arriving after traveling generally want to check in, get settled, and enjoy their stay—not be redirected into a sales presentation under the impression that they are receiving a welcome packet. The property itself is top-notch, but the hidden fees and aggressive timeshare sales tactics significantly diminished the experience. It is a very nice hotel with business practices that could be much more transparent and guest-friendly."
