"We have stayed at this hotel many times as we have family in Lawrence. The hotel is fairly new having opened up about 8 years ago. It is clean and the staff are great! My one complaint is the shower. 1. It has a rainfall shower head without much water pressure which makes it so hard to rinse soap off. I have never understood the appeal of this type of shower head. "I was somewhat disappointed in the room but the 4 things that were the most important to me were there. A large,comfortable bed,...a decent sized TV (although there were no specialty channels)... air conditioning and a refrigerator and microwave. My refrigerator was set on 2 and everything froze including the Pepsi I bought out of the machine which exploded and scared the crap out of me in the middle of the night. The people who cleaned the rooms were very friendly and tried to be helpful but...
