This was a beautiful hotel. Check-in was very pleasant as the receptionist was so friendly and enthusiastic. Breakfast was delicious- and more than I could ever eat!! We celebrated my husband's birthday here and the staff were so accommodating for that. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

I am an American who went to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle (Disney cinderella castle). I booked a room and before everything was fine online the hotel staff called about 20 minutes later and told me they had ran out of room and could no longer accommodate my stay while the website said there was multiple bookings available. I whole heartedly believe it was because we were Americans they canceled our reservation.

Comfortable Value for Money
In an area that can be very expensive to stay, I found this hotel good value for money. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view, food was tasty and location was convenient. Although the hotel is a bit dated in room decor and modern amenities (WiFi was ok, very few plugins) I found it was all part of the charm.

Dishonest management. I paid extra for a room with balcony but was given a room on first floor because they didn’t have a room with balcony.. food was good

The staff at the property was wonderful! There is a fabulous restaurant inside and the staff there was wonderful also. Great location, nice charm, very clean. We even had access to a patio directly from the room. There aren’t any refrigerators, microwaves or coffee makers in the room. Other than that, everything was great! We would definitely stay here again.

Traditional Austrian hotel
Comfortable cosy hotel in the perfect spot. Lots to do in the area and not far from all the attractions in the Alps. Restaurant served excellent food if a bit restricted in choice. We loved our stay and intend going again!

Nice Hotel, Spacious Rooms and a great Shower. No Air Conditioning and it had been very hot in Europe so it was a bit uncomfortable. Nice Breakfast and easy Parking. Beautiful Setting in Austria.

Hotel Goldene Rose is a lovely hotel located right by the river in Lechaschau. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were nice. The breakfast was delicious and had wonderful variety. The location is very close to the Ehrenburg Ruins in Reutte, and this is a great place to stay near the Tirol region, especially if you plan to travel to castles Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein (a short drive away).

We were not informed that the hotel restaurants would be closed on the night of our stay and there was no-one available at the hotel when we arrived and no info available regarding the WiFi access. This apart, the hotel was very nice and the receptionist when we were leaving was very friendly and most helpful.

Nice place, gorgeous views.
Overall great place. Not a fan of the beds (king was a double which makes its tricky for couples). Dining was delicious. Only downfall was having to walk through the dining room to get to our room.

Close to a lot of sites in Füssen. The price was decent and the breakfast was probably the best part. The sauna area was ok, but you had to walk through the restaurant to get there. The steam room was also broken and be prepared for typical german nudity. Bed were alright and rooms were clean.

King bed was two king singles put together linen made up with beds separate with hard wooden edges in the middle. So mattress not butted up together. Ok if you wanted twin room. Views from windows of the mountains had paid extra for balcony views, it was side views of mountains. Had a meal in attached restaurant. Pleasant. Nice breakfast in lovely breakfast room with plenty of character. Checkout took a while due to technical issues with printer. Only one staff member serving guests. Needed to have backup plan of being able to hand write receipts.

Hotel very clean, friendly staff, but located on a busy road. Also, the restaurant garden was underneath our windows and we could hear people talk until very late. Overall a pleasant stay for one night, would like a room at the back of the hotel if I wanted to stay longer due to the noise at the front.

Sehr aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer. Einziger Punkt für eine eventuelle Vebesserung: vom Zimmer über mir war Schrittgeräusche deutlich zu hören (Holzboden?). Ansonsten rundum zufrieden!
