「This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! 「The hotel décor is good, very clean and comfortable. Staffs are excellent, friendly and patient. Breakfast is good. Hotel is next to St Lazard station, convenience to take train and metro. Unfortunately the shower room has no curtain, after shower, especially washing hair, toilet is all wet. If this is not improved, I don't think I will stay again as shower is very important after a long day without taking care of watering on the floor.」

「Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. 」

「Lovely quiet location just outside of busy Sarlat owned by a welcoming couple. Access to the yard, the deck, and a kitchen area for guests is all lovely! Quick drive into the old ville for restaurants etc but nice to retreat to the quiet surroundings of La Bayardine. Wonderful breakfast on the terrasse!」
