"Overall, we were a little bit disappointed with our stay at L’Arveyron. When we first got there, the staff was very nice and helpful which was great, but before we walked into our room they mentioned they were having a "barbecue" outside that night. Our room was right above reception and rather than a barbecue it was more of a massive party outside and in the libby of the hotel with a DJ and karaoke. "Booked an evening meal with the hotel on line, but discovered that it was not open that evening. Recommended local restaurant within 8 mins walk was excellent. Breakfast mean - no fresh rolls and little choice. Guess we were out of season! Word of warning: depending on your direction of travel to this hotel, Mont Blanc Tunnel is completely closed from 2 September-16 December 2024. Ultra convenient for Mont Blanc ski lift. "

"Fantastic place, really friendly staff, excellent room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place."
