「I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this...

「The customer service was excellent! I had gotten in after a long day of traveling and it was very close to closing at the 1854 Grille and I asked if they were still open to make something quick and they were more than happy to do so without hesitation. Front desk staff was just as great. 」

「All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially the girl who was at the desk and checked us in when we arrived. I forgot her name but she had pretty purple hair. What I didn't like was having very little choices for eating or dining. The main dining room was closed on Sunday and Monday which I was very disappointed with and was surprised that a casino would close the dining room down for 2 days. We had to drive someplace to eat.」
