"What a beautiful property right on the Portneuf River! King size bed was super comfy. Everything was very clean. Checkin was easy. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local town and eateries. Biggest surprise, and most wonderful, was the white noise machine! What a great option. There is traffic noise but it slowed down later at night and with the machine i didn't really notice it! Thinking about returning with our camper because it was a great stay. "

"This is an older historical hotel. It is hard to keep an older place up. Carpet a bit worn but overall a good experience. All the staff were friendly. The bar & restaurant on site were Excellent. Chef was top notch. Our scallops were cooked perfect. The 2nd night we had lobster and it was good. A+ to the bartender!"
