The front desk staff attempted to collect money for our reservation even though we'd paid Expedia and had a receipt showing paid in full. There was to be a small amount due at the hotel, ($29CHF), but they tried for $289CHF saying that, "Expedia hadn't paid them yet." Then they gave us a downgrade on our room, and had it not been for my cousins whom we were traveling with we would have been stuck. They eventually gave us the room we had booked. The breakfast was okay, (just barely), but watch the eggs as they are raw, not hard boiled. The facilities are dated and run down. It feels like owner/management is wanting to invest as little as possible to renovate. The only saving grace is the view, (which is spectacular), but so it is from any other hotel in town. We would not return to this hotel even though we plan to re-visit Mürren in the near future.

Stemningsfuldt hotel med fantastisk udsigt til sneklædte bjerge. Morgenmaden er super: god kaffe, lokale oste og rigt udvalg af skinke mv. Værelse med bad på gangen er ikke luksus men autentisk.

酒店位置很好，推窗就是雪山，四周雪山环绕感觉很好，早餐也可以，虽然是公共浴室但是也挺方便，卫生方面有点欠缺，住了3晚房间一次也没有来打扫过，还有浴室的下水有头发丝堵，拉出来后一直堆在角落里，让我怀疑浴室也不是经常打扫

You can do better for a little more

Positives: Great location, Amazing Balcony View, Heating, Breakfast was great, Friendly bar staff, good wifi Negatives: Hotels.com and Hotel Regina charged me for the room, even after showing proof of payment. Very kid friendly, so kids running around the floor and the shared balconies. Paper thin walls so you hear everything, Kids playing with the lights while using the single restroom on the floor.

Loved Murren!

We loved Murren! Breakfast was really good, Jew was spectacular from the dining room! We knew we had a shared bathroom and that wasn't an issue. We had 2 single beds which wasn't a huge deal but they weren't comfortable, you could feel the buttons on the mattress. Didnt sleep well for the 2 night we were there. Door locks were very noisy. Front staff wasn't super friendly and didn't go over anything about the hotel. Overall we loved Murren!

Fantastic hotel!

This hotel was a total highlight for my kids and for me. The views were unreal, the staff was friendly and super helpful, definitely one of the best hotel experiences we've had in Switzerland. Can't wait to go back!

Don't suffer at this hotel...

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I am middle-aged. It absolutely ruined our experience of beautiful Muerren. I had made a 2-night reservation at this hotel from the US expecting that this would be a semi-decent hotel given that it charged as much as an average 5-star hotel in the US. After this experience I felt I had been successfully robbed by hotel management. FIrst of all, I never noticed the fine print on the reservation indicating that the bath was shared. In fact, it was not just the bath but the toilet as well and by an entire floor of the hotel. During our stay we also learned from hotel staff do not clean the rooms after check-in regardless of how long you stay, and our floors were dirty. I had reserved three beds with "panoramic view" for my family of three, but we were given two beds. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with weak, spongy mattresses that shook like jelly when you turned over so neither I nor my wife were able to sleep for two nights despite being tired. There was a balcony, but its rotting wood floor was falling apart. The included breakfast was very limited --squeeze your own juice, boil your own eggs, and the cheese was stale, Some customers had brought their dogs inside the breakfast area. I could not get out of my hotel reservation as I was past Expedia's deadline to cancel. If it wasn't so expensive I might have taken the hit and gone somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and skip this one...I wish I could have...

房间有阳台，正对少女峰，风光无限好。房间设施就较简单，公共卫浴，不太方便，不过挺干净。前台有几个帅哥美女，态度很好。米伦太漂亮了，虽然交通不便，但是安静、美丽，值得。

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. But they made no effort to get the room cooled down before we arrived. Sun was pouring in windows closed and there is no air conditioning. Which means blisteringly hot till way past midnight Also NOT close to airport as advertised. $50 cab ride

Charming historic hotel in Mürren with great view

Great old historic hotel with a magnificent view of the most beautiful mountains on earth (in my humble opinion, and I've seen a lot of mountains). Rooms are decent size, and clean, but old and have not been renovated. Shared bath is a bit of a drag, but the view and location makes it worth the hassle.

Good historical hotel with a great views

A historical hotel with good scenes of Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau mountain from terrace. Full Swiss breakfast in the morning. Easy to reach from Mürren station and Schilthorn station. Remarkable!! It doesn't have in-room bath and toilet.

Prachts-Charme durch ursprüngliche, sanft renovierte Inneneinrichtung, Service und Angebot lodgeartig, Restaurant und Bar leider montags und dienstags geschlossen. Gutes Frühstück mit regionalen und Bio-Produkten. Bettenauswahl (getrennt stehende oder zusammenstellbare Einzelbetten) müsste präzisiert werden können - es ist blöd, wenn man als Paar mit längs hintereinander gestellten Betten vorlieb nehmen müsste. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.

전반적인 시설은 깨끗하고 좋았으나..

시설자체는 깔끔하고 조식도 맛있고 발코니뷰도 엄청 좋았으나.. 처음 도착했을때 우리가 도착시에는 리셉션 휴식타임이라고 아무도 없어서 30분 기다렸는데, 백인손님이 호텔에 들어오니 바로 리셉션 사람이 나오더라구요. 리셉션 휴식타임이라고 안내해주고 호텔식당으로 안내하는거보고..인종차별 당하는 느낌 살짝 들었습니다. 오후 3시체크인 꼭 시간지켜서 체크인해주더라구요. 오후 1시쯤 도착했고 밖엔 비까지 내리는데 얄짤없습니다. 조식때도 커피머신기 고장나니 계속 기다린 저에겐 기다리라는 얘기뿐..다른 백인에겐 따로 커피 직접 타서 주고..전 결국 그날 조식때 커피 못마셨구요. 대놓고는 아니지만 동양인 차별 은근 있었어요. 표정이나 행동, 친절도에서 느껴져서..기분이 좀 그랬네요. 그런거에 좀 예민하신 분들은 이 호텔 다시 생각해보시길.

Hotel dates from 1895

The hotel was built more than a century ago and most of it has not been updated. The beds were relatively new and comfortable, but you have to expect a bit of an experience in a place this old. It's not exactly up to modern standards. Also, the front desk closes at 7pm. Fantastic views though in a quaint, semi-remote village.

gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Preis-Leistungsverhältins ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich alt, also ist es sehr hellhörig. Frühstück war sehr gut, hat alles was man für ein Frühstück braucht. Ist sehr nah an der Bergbahn von Stichelberg und auch Talstation Mürren.

Sehr schönes altes Hotel

Das Hotel Regina ist ein altes sehr stilvolles und schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, was dem alter des Hauses geschuldet ist. Es ist dennoch sehr schön.
