"We enjoyed our stay at Village Heights Resort. The staff were amazing and looked after us well. The food was great, with plenty of choice to choose from, including the variety of restaurants they have.
Rooms were of good size and were cleaned daily. Only downside was the bathrooms could be modernised. Good views of the sea.
The free shuttle bus from the hotel to the centre of Hersonissos was very helpful.
The hotel also had lots of entertainment on offer, particularly the Cretan Night, where they had live music and a dancing show.
Overall, would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to relax and be away from the centre of it all."

"We loved our stay at this resort! One of the highlights was the pool and also the spa. I got a facial and massage with Michaela, and it was so relaxing! The pool had incredible views, I enjoyed my time there. The only reason I didn't give my stay 5 stars is the room. There were stairs from the main room to the bathroom and during our last night I tripped down the stairs. It was at night and even though we left a light on they added a little bit of a barrier to using the bathroom. If you are booking a room here and hesitant about the stairs, check with the staff about moving to a different room. Everything else was great. The AC worked good, plunge pool was enjoyable, and the beach in front of the hotel was so nice as well. We were there for about 3 hours and the water was great."
"My husband and I went to Stella Island for our honeymoon. We had an amazing experience. We stayed in the Grand Overwater Bungalow, which was absolutely beautiful. Staying in that room gives you some perks around the hotel. The food was excellent and felt as though we were at fine dining restaurants for every meal. Truly an amazing hotel and experience. We've already agreed that we would go back for our anniversary. Highly reccomend this hotel if youre looking for a romantic, peaceful and luxurious place to stay in Crete!"
