Foi uma decepção. As fotos não coincidem com a realidade. Apesar de ficar da praia, não é como parece nas fotos que a gente pensa que está à beira mar. O café da manhã é bastante limitado. Para se ter uma ideia, todos os dias só tinha um tipo de queijo e houve dias sem queijo. Um dos dias, havia frutas passadas. O banheiro é horrível: sanitário em um lado, pia em outro e chuveiro em outro. Mesmo pedindo para fazer a limpeza, houve dias sem fazer e quando fazia ou não trocava as toalhas, ou não retirava o lixo ou deixava as xícaras sujas. As toalhas sempre com manchas de sujo. Apesar de tudo isso, há alguns pontos positivos: a localização é boa, a cama é confortável e os lençóis são limpos. Os funcionários da recepção e do café da manhã são bem gentis. Resumo de tudo: achei que não valeu o valor que paguei. Na mesma ilha, em outra viagem, me hospedei em hotéis melhores com preço mais acessível.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fran explained all at check in, and gave a few restaurant recommendations, along with bus links to go further afield. The Number 1 bus is a 20 minute ride to the'Old Town' from nearby (mere minutes by foot) Las Canteras beach. Thoroughly recommended.

I stayed 8 nights at the Occidental Las Canteras in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, and was quite disappointed overall. Several aspects did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. The handle on the sink kept falling off, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it, requiring us to place towels on the floor constantly, which stayed damp throughout our stay. The room had no windows to the outside—only a window facing the elevator, meaning anyone walking by could see directly into our space. Not only was there no view, but there was also virtually no natural light, which made the room feel even more cramped and gloomy. The room itself was very small, and overall, I would rate this hotel closer to a 2.5 or 3-star level. That said, the staff were kind, helpful, and professional, and the breakfasts were very good. Their service was the highlight of the stay.

Business trip, good comfortable hotel with a great location just next to the beach. I didn't have any view from my room as the small window was point towards other parts of the hotel but as it was business I was too busy to look at a view anyway.
