"A bit of a disappointment, having just stayed at the brilliant Parador de Baiona. This is a very small and poorly staffed Parador, where despite having international guests, they do not serve tea at breakfast and you have to ask for everything, you cannot access much of the castle and they put you in rooms without a view when only a few of the 34 rooms are occupied - not much incentive to return?! Cuidad Rosrigo itself is a lovely little town!"
