"A wonderful remote setting in a beautiful building. The small village itself has a couple of restaurants and ice cream shops for a nice slow stroll. The hotel had incredibly friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to help. Especially when my limited French ran out and we were able to switch to English too. "We stayed just one night on a fleeting motorbike tour. Plenty of secure parking for the bike and no problem with the surface. Florence is welcoming and helpful, a very interesting and talented lady. She holds one of those, nowadays, rare qualities of creative vision. I have stayed in far too many soul less, clinical lodgings that I care to mention. This being the perfect antidote. "Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "
