"Everything good, check in , room , food all great One issue…a jobsworth at the grill restaurant…empty restaurant at 6.30pm (not a single person there) I walk up and say table for one , he looks at me, looks at his list, sucks his teeth and after a pause says could you come back at 9.30pm! The coolest "bridge" I have ever "driven" across! Drive aboard and take flight over the River Usk in this 110 year old engineering marvel. Only six of these historic bridges remain in operation, and the Newport Bridge is the longest with a 196m span (645ft).
