Quiet Hotel
Definitely off season but the hotel was clean and quiet Staff was friendly and helpful We enjoyed our stay Will definitely come back in summer

The free breakfast is a major " "! Loved the peace and quiet. Disliked the shower situation; just install a proper shower cabin and do away with that half open/closed bathtub area thing that leaves water all over the bathroom floor.

We loved being so close to Nanstein Castle. Rooms were nice and breakfast was amazing!!! The property is gorgeous. Great job

It’s a holiday at check in so nobody was available to check us in called phone on wall and key was in drop box we checked our room it’s has no internet and nobody answered phone so we left immediately Needless to say it’s not a pleasant experience

We liked the restaurant a lot for dinner and the breakfast was great- lots of tasty options. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds well maintained.

Facilities were great, dinner was fabulous. One suggestion is that the facility should offer fans in the room for air circulation as air conditioning is not available. Also replace the under performing down pillows.

Right below Burg Nanstein. Beautiful and quiet location. Feel like you're deep in the woods of the Rhineland. I lived in the KMC for nine years and always was charmed by the look of this place. So my Temporary Lodging was spent here upon my departure. It was a great choice. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast.

Very close to castle. Reasonably nice European style rooms and ours were quite large for the price. Quiet area and lovely grounds around the hotel. There is a warm breakfast available in the morning. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating.

Great location and very nice setting. The breakfast is great but the beds need to be updated as they are extremely uncomfortable. Super small shower. Good value for the price.

Landstuhl Germany stay
This is an excellent choice to stay when in Landstuhl Germany. You can walk to the Castle. It is up in the woods and very private. The breakfast was to die for. It was like staying in a Swiss Chalet. Owner and staff very helpful

Beautiful property located up on a small mountain out of the town. The rooms are a little dated but still clean and adequate. I would recommend this hotel. A great breakfast included at a very reasonable price.

Great location, hotel surrounded by trees. For party of 4 I was given a room with with two separate chambers and it’s own bathrooms. Food at hotel’s restaurant was delicious and staff very friendly.

Beautiful location. Great scenery, hiking, walk into town. Although not part of the hotel itself, the beer garden/restaurant at the top of the hill by the castle is awesome. The hotel staff was great when they were around, but everyone seemed to disappear from late morning until early evening. Rooms are typical for an older German hotel: comfortable and clean, but not terribly spacious. Importantly, they have smart TVs with cable, so you can watch plenty of English shows and stream Netflix and YouTube. Breakfast buffet is nice and more generous than most German hotels. Dinner menu is fairly standard and food good. Lots of reviews say the hotel is hard to find, but not if you just follow the signs.

Very quiet, picturesque boutique hotel. Landstuhl is a small, charming town with some big town amenities due to the nearby U.S. military bases. The hotel is literally 300 feet (100m) from Berg Nanstien castle ruins. But as the hotel is on a hill, nestled amongst trees, tulips and a winding driveway, you wouldn’t know the castle was there. Nice restaurant, sauna, exercise room. Friendly staff speaks German and English.

Overall the hotel was a decent stay...breakfast was a highlight along with the hot tub and sauna. The room was admittedly less than expected...2 single beds slide together and other elements require some TLC...staff was very helpful whenever we had a question or need. Great place, outstanding staff, and ideal location
Awesome place. Great location and ideal getaway while just a short walk to the castle and Landstuhl. Good food. Small but very good breakfast bar. Room was clean and updated nicely even though the hotel is an older hotel. Loved the place.

The property was in a quiet, wooded area up a hill. No other easily reached dining facilities around, but the town of Landstuhl is a brisk walk away. Comfortable room which fit my needs. 10 minutes away from Ramstein Air Force base and other communities. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Only downside to my stay was that the shower was scalding hot and no way to turn down the temperature. There was no cold water. I spoke to the front desk about the issues but nothing was able to be done while I stayed in the area.

A great little hotel with a good restaurant and morning breakfast…no shampoo provided (?) this stay and you have to ask to borrow an iron and ironing board (but that is common amongst many small German hotels). It sits right below the castle ruins and it has a driveway right out of the Monaco race circuit…but it’s barely wide enough for two cars to pass!

Overall, a nice place.
Overall, it was a good stay. Unfortunately, due to CORONA, I was unable to utilize the gym, restaurant, or spa. I was happy to see these things were available though for possible future visits. My only complaint was that for a taller person, the single room bed was simply too small. Otherwise, great place - especially great location!

This was my first time staying at a European hotel so I wasn't sure what to expect. Checkin was different from my previous hotel experiences in that your credit card is not taken until you are ready to check out. It's a good thing that one can have payment processed the day before checkout as the front desk does not open until 8AM on the weekends. Keys are simply left at the front desk on the day of checkout if the desk was closed. I loved the breakfast as it's quite better than the usual continental breakfast. One thing of note is that unless we were using the egg boiler incorrectly, the times listed to cook an egg is incorrect. This is due to the water simply being hot rather than boiling. Our rooms were nice. The smaller beds were expected but I did not expect the material to be foam. The pillows were a bit soft for me but I was still able to sleep. I've never encountered their style of balcony doors before and the first time I used it was a surprise. Specifically, I did not know that there was a feature where the whole door can been made to lean inside the room in order to allow outside air in without having the door be open enough for a person to get through. I liked the restaurant and we ate there 4 out of the 6 nights that we stayed at the hotel.
