"Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. "Excellent hotel, better than expected for the price, especially as there was a kitchenette in the room. Spacious room and decor of the whole hotel was very attractive. The breakfast was excellent, the best breakfast by far of all the hotels we stayed in on this holiday. We had to pay 9 Euros for parking, but it was secure garage parking under the hotel reception and we booked it in advance, and were glad to have a secure place for the car. However, arrival was tricky because there seemed to be nowhere to pull up short-term in order to be able to go into reception and check in. The hotel should give instructions as to where one can stop to do this, especially as the roads around are busy, and it is not easy to get back to the hotel once you have driven past. The hotel was on the city ring road, and very convenient for the city centre, being just ten minutes walk from the cathedral, so we had no need to use the car while staying there."

"We stayed here overnight on our way to Spain last year and again this year. It is clean and the location near an amazing bakery, restaurants and a large supermarket is ideal. I’d be happy to return a third year and I’d certainly recommend the hotel for an overnight stay to anyone else. The only criticism is that someone was living in a tent next to the hotel. He had a friendly elderly dog and shopping trolleys next to his tent with his belongings in. Whilst this wasn’t a problem, I’m surprised the hotel allowed it."
