Good place to stay in keeping with local customs and pace of life. If you drive a hundred miles to stay in a Holiday Inn Express, this is probably not your place. Quiet, comfortable and nice outdoor area with view of farms and clippety click of passing buggies.

The inn is cozy, clean, near to resturants and shopping with courteous staff . Nothing fancy could use an upgrade, but it's perfect to spend a night or two. It is quiet, except for the wall a/c which is noisy and can defintely be upgraded.

This is a wonderful Inn with great suggestions for local restaurants and places of interest. Since the owner and staff grew up there, they encouraged us to explore and truly understand the community and neighborhood where they are located. We’d definitely go back!

The property was lovely, the furnishings/ decor are dated, and the location was good for our stay and local event and surrounding area travel plans. There was a fridge in the room; there was not a coffeemaker in the room, but coffee and hot water were in the common area.

If you're looking for a five star hotel, this is not it. However, for the price it was wonderful. Centrally located, clean and comfortable. And they cleaned our room every day we were there! Not always done after COVID. The staff and proprietor were so friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when traveling in Lancaster County.

Charming, well appointed and maintained place, very comfortable. Good parking. Took me a few days to find out they had pastries and coffee set out in the morning -- there was one sign, near check-in and not prominent. I'll know next time, and there may well be a next time, because I liked this place.

Smokehouse Inn is a charming, quiet respite; just what you are looking for if you need a weekend get-a-way. A owners and staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is plentiful for the size of the Inn and the room was spotless. Shops, food venues, and tourist attractions are nearby if that is why you are visiting. We will definitely return if they have availability on the dates of our travel plans.

The room itself is very clean. I was disappointed to find there was no coffee in room. They did offer it in the morning at 7:30 but I prefer mine earlier. It was like staying in somebody’s home. You had to make sure that you were very quiet in the evening.
