「No real complaints, great hotel, staff and experience」

「This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. We ate at the local pub a short walk away along with other residents and had a very pleasant evening. The bed was comfortable and good quality toiletries in the bathroom-soap, body lotion, shampoo and...

「The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was part of a farm so there was an unpleasant smell of manure. The room was small and very hot. It would have been useful to have had a fan in the room.」

From a friendly welcome through to the young staff on in the restaurant and housekeeping delivering excellent service combined with that pop of extra friendliness that gives the 5 star rating. 「Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.」
