"Checked the website didn’t see the pool and hot tub were closed. Pretty disappointed by that as we drove 9 hours to get there. Check in was smooth, lobby was exceptionally clean and you could see they take care of it — wish I could say the same about the rooms. The front desk woman was excellent, kind, and professional. In our room the bath tub was peeling on the bottom. There was very visible mystery grime on the hair dryer. The air unit was incredibly loud. Almost sounded like there was a rodent trying to claw its way out all night. The only thing “3 Stars” about this hotel was the front desk woman and the lobby area. I got a much cheaper, cleaner hotel from Hampton inn by Hilton. Truly disappointed in our stay in BW Elko."

"First room we were given, had a bad odor and we requested another room I am a senior as was another family member we were given a room at the end if the property where there were hardly any other guests The second room was better, but still in the last building. Check in took about 20 min and as i asked questions the term " third party" was repeated numerous times. So because we chose to use expedia to book our room we were penalized as the desk clerk pointed out "third party" reservation. I have used expedia numerous places, never was treated the way we were at Maverick in Elko Nevada."

"Second time here. Beds are soft and very comfortable. Very nice staff. Better than usual breakfast. Fresh cooked bacon and eggs. Place is a great deal. This is our go to place when traveling."

"The hotel is an older hotel with very comfortable accommodations. A pay guest laundry room was available. During our stay the swimming pool was under repair and not available. The only negative aspect of our stay was that the hotel open spaces as well as the casino, restaurant and bar allowed smoking - the room was a smoke free room."

"I don’t expect much from a Motel 6, but a bit worse than that. Have to hold the shower head, no drain plug in bathtub, the sink sprays everywhere. The lock on the front door did not work. Two cars in the parking lot outside my door were jacked up with no tires. But the bed was comfortable, the toilet worked well and the TV was excellent. I don’t doubt there are more comfortable places in Elko."
