Lovely hotel in the heart of Lamezia. Near the action but tucked slightly off the Main Street so it was quiet. Great little kitchen to make our own breakfast. Self check in process was tricky, but we had assistance live on WhatsApp, so after a few challenges, got in. Would recommend San Carlo if you are going to Lamezia.

Nice B&B

The place was very easy to find they sent you instructions , the room had a washer but no dryer but no where to hang your cloths like a balcony or patio , other then that the room and bathroom was fine , just if you have luggage you have to carry that all the way up

Self check in comunicato dinanzi portone. Ciò ha causato il disagio di dover attendere il riscontro dopo invio dei documenti , scarsa assistenza e difficoltà a trovare cassetta delle chiavi. Stanza nell' abbaino caldissimo tre piani di scale per raggiungere il sito. .

Questo B&B e' in una posizione centrale, e' tranquillo, le stanze sono molto pulite ed arredate con gusto. Pero' non c'e' la possibilita' di lasciare il bagaglio in un luogo sicuro il giorno del check-out, cosa che mi ha costretto ad anticipare il rientro. Non c'e' mai personale alla reception se non al check-in. Quando ho telefonato, non e' stato specificato che la stazione piu' vicina e' Lamezia-Nicastro, se fossi scesa a Lamezia Centrale avrei dovuto fare 20 minuti di taxi. Quindi, le informazioni al cliente non sono state accurate. La macchinetta del caffe' davanti alla porta della stanza e' rumorosa, andrebbe messa al piano di sopra, nella cucina comune. Infine, in totale assenza dello staff, alcuni ospiti hanno lasciato il portone e la porta del B&B aperti perche' non tutti avevano le chiavi per rientrare separatamente, a scapito della sicurezza degli altri ospiti.

This is an amazing cosy b&b situated in the city centre with all the amenities you could ask for, a spacious room with private bathroom and welcoming caring staff. Thank you Carlo and family for a wonderful stay.

Zugegeben: Ich habe das Zimmer günstig bekommen, mit Blick auf Lage und Ausstattung hätte ich keinen Grund zu meckern. Aber: Leider waren die Wände zu dünn; man hörte die Nachbarn, das Wassrrauschen der Klospülungen, sowie das Duschen der Nachbarn (insbesondere denen über meinem Zimmer) in einer sehr unangenehmen Lautstärke. Wände und Decke sind zu dünn bzw. unausreichend isoliert. Ich vermute, dass die drei Zimmer in meiner Etage (2. OG) aus Rigips oder so sind, also nachträglich reingezogen worden sind, um einer großen Etage drei Zimmer plus einen kleinen Loungebereich abzugewinnen. Hinzu kommen die Bodenfliesen, wo man die Schritte der Nachbarn bzw. Menschen auf den Gang hört, zusätzlich zu deren Stimmen (z.B. wenn sie in der Loungeecke sitzen und sich unterhalten). Schade.

5-day stay in late July

Very good value in terms of price. I can't remember if there was a request on the website to phone in advance of one's arrival, but I only informed Anna when I was at the airport. However, she was helpful and at the B&B when I arrived. Coffee and biscuits are available in the communal area for breakfast, and in addition you are entitled to a croissant and hot drink at a cafe across the road, which is very convenient. The room was kept clean and there were plenty of towels. The only problem was that the bathroom fan did not work, and as the room has no external wall or window, there was a bit of a smell from the drains when you come back in the evening. The B&B is situated in a busy part of the town, so there are the usual noises (dogs, klaxons, motorbikes, etc) but that is what you expect. There is aircon & a balcony, and the location is convenient for restaurants and bars.

Wie die Studentenbude eines guten Freundes

Eigentlich als Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht gedacht, wären wir gerne länger geblieben. Das B&B wird gut geführt, das Frühstück in einem Kaffee gegenüber ist gut organisiert, das Örtchen Lamezia-Terme hat auch mehr Charme als gedacht (in die Kneipe Cantine Populari gehen). Man fühlt sich wie zu Gast in der Studentenbude eines guten Freundes.
