This hotel is excellent in providing super Moroccan garden for areas to relax in, with wonderful evening meals in their restaurant and accommodation which is individual and well thought out. The wifi is very good and available throughout the property. The staff and owner are very approachable and helpful willing to make your stay as good as possible. Both pools are on the large size with one heated. Trips are available for those who desire this experience.

The Capaldi is a beautiful, boutique hotel. The room was large, well decorated and had 2 terraces. The food is outstanding, and we loved having breakfast and cocktails on the roof terrace, with dinner by the crackling fire by candlelight. The staff are just lovely, always helpful and smiley. Big shout out to the unflappable Carole, who seemed to be spinning a lot of plates but always happy to help, advise and chat. The owners, Edward and Tara are such good company and make you feel like friends.

The Capaldi was a wonderful hotel to stay in. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was outstanding and the views were exceptional. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend staying here.

We just spent 3 nights at The Capaldi. We absolutely loved the hotel. It was exactly what we wanted which was peaceful and relaxing. If you want things to do there are plenty of options too. The food is excellent with the dinner menu changing every night. The gardens are beautifully kept and the hotel staff are all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful. Peaceful with amazing food. We were three couple's traveling and enjoyed our time here . The grounds are gorgeous and staff very kind and friendly. I would love to stay here again when in Morocco. Impeccable service and amazingly comfortable beds. Capaldi arranges transport and on both occasions drivers were friendly, prompt, and courteous . 5 stars!

Fantastic, beautiful property!
This was an amazing, peaceful get away after a hectic work trip. Beauty all around, facilities amazing, food great! The owner Ed and Tara mafe me feel at home. Will return in the future! Had a hammam and massage-was fantastic!

The grounds are stunning as was the room. We had one of two rooms that has its own private terrace and heated pool. Perfect for a totally relaxing and quiet break. All meals were excellent, varied by day and of the highest quality products. The staff were just so lovely, kind, patient and made our stay one of tranquility. The owners have a great eye for detail and quality and put every effort to make sure the estate was welcoming and just perfect. We will definitely be back, this place is a gem and you will live every minute of your stay.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous food, but a few niggles: 1) Location - it is a bit isolated, with nothing other than a small village nearby. It is definitely NOT a 1 minute Walk to the High Atlas (as per the Hotels.com description)! The High Atlas were a beautiful backdrop but many miles away 2) Noise - Although the hotel blurb states the hotel is on 1 floor, we had a ground floor room with another room above. On our first night we had to complain about the noise from above. 3) Drinks - The Moroccan wine served was generally really nice, however the cocktails in our experience were not so good.

The Capaldi Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds, the rooms, the pools and the views... Following a few day stay in the Medina, my boyfriend and I came to the Capaldi for a relaxing retreat in the mountains. We loved our time there and wish we could have stayed for longer! Thanks to all at the Capaldi for making our first trip to Marrakesh one to remember. Gaby & Ben.

Beautiful resort in the desert
I recommend hiring a car to get here as you can then drive onwards to the coast or up into the mountains. On a hot day over 40 degrees it is still pleasant to relax by the pool in the shade. Nice cuisine which is mixed Moroccan/international. Very hospitable staff. There was only one loud group of white British people that disturbed the peace and quiet at one point.

Great getaway outside of Marrakesh
After a few weeks roaming around Morocco, we chose the Capaldi for a few days to unwind. It proved to be a great decision. The pools were beautiful, food at the restaurant excellent, and the staff did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Amazing Mountain View’s.
From the moment we arrived we were instantly made to feel at home, all of the staff are so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do any more for us. The hotel itself is beautiful as are the grounds and surrounding Mountain View’s. We dined in the restaurant each night, new menu each night with equally delicious food. The perfect relaxing break and would highly recommend.

The staff and service at the Capaldi was impeccable, I’ve never been to a hotel where the owners spend time getting to know the guests, which made the experience really lovely. The hotel is also totally stunning and there are lots of little touches from the cinema to the board games that made it feel like home.

Such a lovely, lovely stay. We were at the Capaldi for just one night and I so wish we had stayed longer. The setting is serene - there is so much space to spread out and just enjoy the sun, the views, the clear air. The design is impeccable. Service outstanding. And the food fantastic.

The Capaldi is a wonderful oasis, with well appointed accommodations, beautiful gardens, world-class cuisine, and the very best staff taking care of every possible detail. Its an easy 30-40 minute drive outside Marrakech, and absolutely worth the trip. The hotel enthusiastically assisted us with a few excursions, which just added punctuation to our already premier stay at the Capaldi. Highly recommend to any traveler to Morocco looking for a quiet oasis away from the city.

We spent here last days of our vacation and it could not be better! Lovely garden, amazing swimming pool(s) and very helpful personnel. It felt like 5 star private resot, it has also cinema and the restaurant is just great! Our meals were like from the best restaurants. Fully recommend to come here and fully relax

Great stay at The Capaldi Hotel
Had a great stay at The Capaldi Hotel - the setting overlooking the Atlas mountains was stunning, the facilities were top notch (2 pools inc. 1 heated, spa, gym, cinema etc.) and the food was of good quality. Service was also excellent including the hotel very kindly letting us check out late as our flight didn't leave until 9pm. Will definitely be planning a visit back in the future!

Really helpful management - absolutely excellent cuisine - wonderful bar service next to the olive-branch-burning fire - ideal diversion in the hotel's cinema in the event of inclement weather. In the low season you take your chance on the weather as the hotel is absolutely at one with sunshine! But the views of the Atlas mountains (snow-capped as they can be) are uninterrupted - we took a car to the nearest point to the highest mountain in North Africa (we were told), and had to have crampons to descend back to the local village, stepping aside for the mule transport going up - a very manageable and memorable adventure! And the restaurant on the local lake to the Capaldi was absolutely superb.

Stylish design, superb food.
A beautifully designed hotel with tasteful interiors and impeccable food. The staff were friendly and helpful at every opportunity and the owners, Edward and Tara made us feel very welcome. A true gem of a hotel in a stunning location. The view of the mountains from the pool is unforgettable.

Perfect hotel!
We had a fantastic stay at The Capaldi Hotel. The hotel had a laid back style with high quality, delicious food, extremely friendly and helpful staff, exceptional views and a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a great private cinema, two swimming pools all set in beautiful landscape. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway in Morocco. I will definitely be returning!

Didn't quite hit the spot for us although many good aspects. Not really in foothills of mountains but good views. Nice gardens and pools, with plenty of places to sit or sunbathe. Food very good but dining room would benefit from a good head waiter, also surprised at having to pay extra for some basic breakfast items. Corinne the manageress was very good but the hotel is English owned and would have preferred more authentic Moroccan experience. Decor rather gloomy - black walls in reception. Hammam in spa reasonably priced and good experience. Walk to lake very interesting, takes about an hour with nice hotel for lunch by the lake. Probably wouldn't return but relaxing stay after Marrakech.

Vacker anläggning nära Atlasbergen; fina rum om än smutsiga golv - i övrigt rent. God mat, luncher och middagsmenyer. Bra viner. Det finns ett spa; men massagen var inte bra. Biosalongen var uppskattad av hela familjen. Vi tog också promenaden ner till sjön, ca 45 min tor och pt lunch på Relais du lac. Helt ok. Ett par avslappnande dagar; precis vad vi behövde.
