「Most of the staff was great. But really depends on who is there that day. I had a couple of people being extremely helpful and nice. but one morning we didn’t have water during breakfast and the main desk attendant just said: “there is nothing we can do about it.” But other times I had people walking an extra mile to help with the laundry machine and other things. Outside needs care. But the room was clean and the mattress was new and confortable. Breakfast was good for what it is.」

「Staying here is about the location. For a family of 4 seeking a staycation, the amenities beyond the pool were quite limited. The family zone was run-down with no structured activities. The view from the balcony was lovely but it felt more like a Hampton Inn than a posh resort. Finally you get hit with multiple little hidden fees that end up costing as much as the stay, including a 2% credit card fee - would be better if they just baked this into the price rather than dinging you at check-out...

「Lights turned on randomly throughout the night. So we could t utilize overhead fan. Power went out multiple times( not storm related). Got evacuated due to some heat alarms, it was very unclear and poorly managed. Parking was around 36$ a day per car (regular parking)Strange because the garage was pretty empty.」

「It grows on you. Great location if you want to experience east 6th. Rocking pool with happy hour. Nice restaurant with rooftop bar. Eclectic decor and gift shop. Overall, very fun. Was not disappointed, but half the hotel has hostel style private rooms with shared bath. Gated parking, secure entry. Interesting shops, nice walk to east Austin neighborhoods. Close to downtown and capital of Texas. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Shower shoes provided with robes.」
