「Always take note when you enter a room if there are ear plugs put out for you. Lovely hotel, nice staff, great breakfast , decently equipped, but 1960 style single pane windows made the noise from the interstate feel like one was sleeping on the side of the road. Yes! I picked a hotel beside the interstate but I can attest every one at breakfast was gobsmacked at the noise.」

「When arrived the gentleman at the front desk was not very welcoming..not one smile. When we walked into our room there was a weird smell..like a cheap bathroom cleaner that was used to clean the whole room..turned on the AC only made it worse with a musty smell..clearly an older unit. Requested another room..which we did get..was much better. However..we heard every step made from the people above us. Was an ok experience for the money..not seeing how it got so many “excellent “ ratings though.」

「This was an overnight stop for us on the way from Lubbock TX to St. Louis. It was quite easy to reach off I-44 just north of town. There are places to eat within walking distance and stores if needed. We traveled with a small terrier and appreciated the easily accessible places to walk her.」

「It was 62$, including tax, for the night and was nicer than I expected at that price. Would have been cooler (literally) if the AC had been on before I got there but the room temperature came down pretty quickly. Shower pressure was very lacking but I still got clean sooo? 62$ room.. nice.」
