"This was an excellent place to stay. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms made you feel like you were in an upnorth cabin and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have access to the Lake Superior beach and to be able to sit outside in the evening by a fire."

"The hotel itself is well kept and has beautiful views of Lake Superior. We loved our stay. Our favorite part was visiting the beach on the hotel property and looking thru the smooth rocks that the water tumbled. The only dislike was how expensive the restaurant was inside the hotel. The dining room could use updating. Good breakfast."
