「The staff was very nice! The location is perfect for Lake Lure - it’s perfect for being by Lake Lure Beach. The parking is easy. It is an older historic hotel - tiny showers, thin walls, and it is looking a little weathered.」

「I love this property but it is sorely in need of maintenance. For example, the living ng room rug was so horribly frayed in one prominent place that I had to put some books on top of it so I didn’t have to look at it! The elevators need the lights to work, the concrete steps and hallways are very worn and hold water from any sort of rainfall (even minor), resulting in chipped paint, cracked floors, standing water you have to walk through to get on the elevators, uneven steps between the...

The brunch included with our stay was a cherry on top. Wasn’t your basic continental breakfast. Also, loved that we could enjoy the place a bit longer after checking out.
