  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Great budget option for a solo traveler.

Everything was clean which is mainly what I look for in a budget motel such as this. One of the two lamps had a burned out lightbulb but honestly didn’t bother me at all as I was just flopping for the night

stayed here for just one night. Property was outdated but priced accordingly… staff was very helpful with check in process. Room had everything that I needed including a small kitchenette to make breakfast in the morning. Bottom line is I would stay here again and would highly recommend.

First, we stayed in a basic room, 2 beds, not with a kitchen, etc. It was clean and neat. The bed was super comfy, I liked the bathroom, and the ac worked perfect. We were only flopping for the night, so it was fine and we had a good night sleep. But overall I found the room "depressing", primarily because of the overall lighting. I think for what we paid they could have had a glass, of any kind (even paper or plastic), in the bathroom. Maybe even a desk chair, anything other than the bed to sit on. Finally, the outside light glared through the window all night. Perhaps if there were lined curtains, or a shade, or anyway to shut off the light, or even thicker curtains, it would have helped.

No available staff when needed, bees nest u see out air conditioner which made it impossible to sit outside. Sand all over the inside of pool. not enough pool sitting, no umbrellas, no shade what so ever. Bathrooms dirty, rooms smell very musty, wet and old.

Considering the other reviews I read, I expected a worse experience. It was better than expected, room was clean. The top quilt had a stain but all other sheets and blankets were clean. The AC worked and its in a convenient location. It was a basic motel and it did its job.

Very exceptable.

read some negative revues and i really dont understand why.. For the price i paid,$74,for the area i was in was very acceptable. The room was clean and bright with some nice touches. I always like when ttheres some chairs and small table outside the room. Yes,its old,you can always tell when the sign says,color tv and air conditioner but put that aside and you get a great clean room at a great price
