  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Very Comfortable beds, nice amenities, that included hot tub, sauna, pool. The heated pool could have been about 10 degree's warmer, chilly. Breakfast was wonderful, everything was fresh and ample selection. Front desk was very accommodating, bar area was slow service during happy hour. Beautiful views from front of hotel. If I return would want a 3rd floor pool facing room as they call it, that gives view of the lake. Overall, nice place for a short stay over, can imagine summer would be fantastic with outdoor pool.

This hotel is in a perfect location and very safe to walk into Lake George village. Rooms are very clean & comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond. We truly felt at home during our stay.

Group holiday. Excellent location for exploring the Lake George area. Good restaurant and bar with excellent service. Nice to have a pool. Would recommend.

Everything was great. The breakfast was excellent with many choices, especially enjoyed fresh fruit. We ate at the bar, hamburger was cooked very good and the drinks reasonable--happy hour! Our room was very comfortable. And we enjoyed a play in the dinner theater.

Facility as a whole appears new. Very clean everywhere. Pool and hot tub were great. Restaurant and bar were busy and service was great. Rooms were very comfortable.

Really nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, indoor pool is nice/clean. Easy walk into town. Room was comfortable. Would recommend and come back next year.
