  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Room was not extravagant, however, simple and clean, as expected for this rate. Staff was friendly and responsive to any questions and service requests. Pool was clean and clear. Towels, however showed wear, make up stains, thread bare on the first sets we had. A request for more showed thick, newer towels. For a simple get away, this worked well. Close to downtown was a perk for sure!

Cute spot for our weekend getaway.

Perfect for what we needed for our Great Escape trip. We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean. Location was great, we were minutes away from the strip and the Great Escape. Parking is a little awkward, but it worked. Overall pleased with our stay. We definitely would stay again.

Columbus Day weekend getaway

Our stay for the most part was enjoyable. The room although somewhat dated was clean and the bed very comfortable. My wife and I have mobility issues so we requested a room on the ground level and a king size bed. Though our request was granted you couldn't turn off the TV or adjust the volume using the remote control. And, though we didn't need many services it would have been nice had they come in and made the bed and given us an exchange of fresh towels which we had to ask for. In addition on our first night we had some less than desirable neighbors that felt the need to slam doors and run back and forth in front of our room until around 2am preventing us from getting much sleep. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they were thankfully only there for the night. All in all not a horrible experience and we would stay here again as we have in the past. Definitely worth the money if you're looking for a decent place to stay if you're trying to stay within a budget.

Stayed here for one night as my family was staying at a resort in Bolton Landing about 9 mins away. Greeted very nicey and my room was upgraded from a queen to a king without charge. Fridge in room, located right by the village. Very good prices.

The property is well located close to Lake George. It’s an older property, however appears to be well kept. What stood out for me was the customer service. Ali was excellent and a pleasure to deal with.
