It was an absolutely beautiful cottage. It’s pet friendly. It’s well stocked with plates and utensils as well as dish soap and a dish drying rack. It was a perfect place to stay.

I like the pool. I wish my room had a microwave. Only cabins had microwaves. The location was good in regards to my open water event in Hague and proximity to Lake George.

The rooms were very cozy, and the owner was on top of everything. There was never a worry about towels or garbage bags or anything of that nature it was helpful and advice of where to eat and we will probably gladly stay there again one day.

We love Amber Lantern! Tom is an amazing host and kind and available. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!

The cabins are super cute, the owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is close enough to attractions yet far enough away from the busyness of Lake George to ensure a peaceful and quiet stay.

We were not expecting much for the cheap price we paid but i must say I was impressed. The room was exactly as pictured. It was an easy checkin/out process. Oh and one of the more comfortable beds. Slept like a baby

We rented two units for 5 days and had a wonderful time. My family of 8 stayed and everyone had a great time. There were close fun things to do in Lake George! When it was time to relax and enjoy the pool, playground, ping pong and other outdoor games we all really enjoyed our time at Amber Lantern! The owners are very nice and accommodating! Definitely would go back again!

Amber Lantern is a wonderful property to stay at. Just the overall feel is cozy and comfortable; I love the cabins, especially since they’re just right for what you need. The manager and staff are polite and attentive; they leave you be when you want to just do your thing, but they’re around to ask for help when necessary. Definitely booking again.

It was our first stay, and not our last! We enjoyed the kindness of the staff, the clean room/cottage and also the location. There were a few guests that were a bit loud on occasion, but that can't be helped, especially during busy season. We would probably just choose a cabin that is alone rather than shared next time. We look forward to coming again!

The property is very adorable and quaint. The cottages are adorable and clean. May need a bit of updating but for what I needed it was perfect. The town was just minutes away by car. The owners were supper nice!

I travel with my husband and two sons.The location is close to the village of Lake Greorge ( by car), the staff are friendly and helpfull. We like this location becouse the cottage has everything that you need for a stay ( mini kitchen, bathroom with shower, beds, tv , air conditioner and some pots, pans, ect..). Also you can bring your own grill and kitchen items. The location is beautiful. We will back again.

We enjoyed our stay and the rustic look of cabins. Very roomy much better than a regular motel. Clean and comfortable. Owners were great and even responded to our texts and emails. Very hospitable people! Location is quiet and more peaceful than being right in the village. The only thing I would do on future visits is bring a bright lamp and an extension cord.

I’m all about rustic cabins in the woods but these just need some TLC. I don’t even care as much about the peeling paint, or rusted shower but the smell of old, musty room enhanced every time the old window unit AC was on was little too much for me. We were lucky the weather was nice so we opted for open windows most of the time. We picked this place because it’s pet friendly. Upon our arrival, the owner/manager (?) greeted me by saying I was supposed to call ahead that I’m bringing a dog. Well, I didn’t know that. Then I was told to minimize the time the dog spends in the cabin alone. So that didn’t seem very dog friendly to me until I saw people who arrived a day after us letting their dogs run in the fenced in pool area off leash and swimming in the pool. Anyway, the rules for dogs just seem too weird and with everything else, I would probably not stay again. The best part is the location.

Booked a last minute stay between wedding gigs so I wouldn't have to drive all the way back home and then back again. The cabin was clean, had a small fridge, small heater that worked a lot better than I had expected and had the basic amenities along with a flat screen tv with cable. The owner (or manager) was so nice and accommodating allowing me to check in early and check out late which worked out perfectly. There was parking right next to the cabin and a great deli / store up the road. The cabins are really cute! If you're looking for a luxury cabin this may not be for you but if you want clean, comfortable and a great host then I highly recommend staying here. I will be back!

I loved this place. It was like a cabin and a nice experience. Great price. There is no microwave or coffee maker. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has wifi. If you’re looking for fancy this is not for you. I’m definitely coming back. Btw the pool is open it’s very small but great for kids
