Our stay was great! Bedding was comfy and staff was outstanding! I’m especially impressed with the dehumidifier in the room. It so important in Louisiana. I will definitely stay here next time we visit our grandchildren!

Hotel Review

The clerk at the front desk, Carlos, was great. Friendly, courteous, helpful and customer service oriented. The room was clean and impressive. I would highly recommend staying here.

The property did have a smell. The building is dated and has visible areas that need attention. Overall, the property was sufficient for a one night stay. I will probably try another property if I go back to that area. For being a Marriott owned property, I was a little disappointed. The bed was clean and towels etc were clean, just not up to the level you would expect.

False advertisement

On the website it states that it has an indoor pool. But, fails to state that the pool is still freezing cold. The indoor pool was the whole reason for staying at this particular hotel because of the 3.3 rating of it. My grandson stepped in the pool and it took his breath away because it was soooo cold.

We studied in this hotel on our travels home. It was decent price of the staff was very nice and accommodating it. My only complaints are. It was a wheelchair accessible room that actually wasn't. I couldn't get to one side of the bed at all. As it was jammed up along the wall. Once the sofa bed was down, there was no accessibility to the bathroom at all. The microwave and refrigerator power strip and plug in the wall also did not work at all. Otherwise, everything was clean, nice and meat and in order.

Nice place to stay though the elevator broke down. That would be my only complaint but machinery breaks. They did have a repairman there working on it the next morning which was a Sunday on the 4th of July weekend. So I would give them a thumbs up on maintenance!
