Unbelievable views! Our room was a little long in the tooth but my parents room was nice! These are all independently owned so you never really know what you’re going to get. Even though ours was older, it absolutely was clean! The majority of the staff here are outstanding as well! Easy walk to restaurants and shops at Whalers Village. Will definitely be back!

The Murphy bed was very comfortable. The room spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the beach from the lanai, which also overlooked a beautiful Koi fish pond. I loved that the sun was not directly on the lanai. At least during October..Would love to stay in the same unit.

Amazing time at The Whaler

It was amazing. Great view. Lovely pool. Never had an issue getting a lounger by the pool. Right on the beach and by restaurants. Studio was clean and well stocked. Highly recommend!

Great kitchen for cooking food, and very close to black rock beach, which is our favorite beach. It's only a 4-5 minute walk. The beach is clean and beautiful in this area.

We had internet password but had no idea what the server was. No internet for two days. The location which originally I thought was not what I wanted. Overlooking whalers village, turned out to be the best. Ice maker never worked, we bought ice. Problem solved. The employees were great, so helpful. Kind of a pain to have to call Ashton for ever. Great week.

Carpet was really old and dirty. Tub needs to be redone, Chips and cracks. I had to call housekeeping on day 6 to come and clean. They were supposed to come every 4 days. The front office staff was excellent as is the location. We love the Whaler!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here at the Whaler. It was very quiet and I noticed an older demographic seemed to be the majority of guests. I didn’t see too many young families. But I’m sure young families would do great at this hotel too. The pool looked just average which didn’t matter for us since we didn’t use it. So that might be why it doesn’t draw a lot of young families. It’s perfectly located between a bunch of other hotels and a very easy walk to the shops. Easy walk out to the beach too. We also liked the gym in the lower level. Pretty decent with a few cardio machines and weights/benches. It got the job done. Our room was very comfortable and was nice to come home to each day after being out playing all day. I really liked this hotel and would stay here again.

Our room was great, we stayed on 12th floor. The place was overall clean, and the view to the ocean was beautiful. This condominium is well maintained, it has a nice kitchen with the necessary pots and pans, dishwasher, and offers free laundry, which is conveniently located on the same floor. As you might be aware, this place is not a hotel, so don't expect housekeeping. We observed some construction in the property but it didn't bother us. One improvement I think they should consider is expanding the pool, it is small for the size of the property. I would definitely recommend this property, it's well maintained and located next to the Whaler's Village shopping center. Overall, I would stay here again in the future. Thank you.

great time in nice place

Great location, easy to check in and check out. Great accommodation- condo after recent renovation, comfortable sleep( except bed frame is low and corners are always on the way, bumped foot several times- so, be careful). Kitchen has everything and enough for daily usage. The only what we don't like- its a noise from air conditioners at the Whalers mall- its work all the time and its very loud. So, its no pleasant time on the balcony at all- balcony should be closed all the times. Otherwise, very nice property, good resort- want to come back and will recommend to my friends

The area is beautiful you are right by the water. The hotel is older. The water in shower needed more pressure, and it took about 1o minutes for water to heat up. The wind blew through room and would make tiles in bathroom sound like someone was moving things in the night. The TV was a bit challenging to navigate. Staff was quiet but did not make you feel like they were happy you were there. When we called to ask if pool had any rules about bringing own drinks, nobody knew. We had to call to get new towels for room they do not bring fresh ones only upon request. Our door key failed prior to last day there. Parking was convenient did not find out later that it was all connected and you could go directly to lower level. Staff did not mention, they were quiet. Property was clean, and within walking distance of restaurants and a shopping center which was nice. No soda machines or ice machine for public use on hotel property.
