I would rate this property as one of the better hotel choices in Lagos. It is definitely the best on the mainland. The service was excellent, the staff what top-notch. I will say that it appeared to be quite busy in the lobby area. It was a bit difficult, trying to get a seat to sit down and have a drink.

This is certainly one of the best properties, however the dining experience at Asian grill is not so great. This restaurant prepares amazing food and hence is in high demand. But somehow the hotel has very few serving staff in this restaurant leading to inordinate delay in taking order. It happens almost all the time. I gave this feedback last time directly to hotel but there is no improvement. This time even though I made reservations for myself but the team there said they can’t give me a table as all single person tables are occupied and they can’t give table of four to me. Finally after insisting for some time, they did give me a table. It took 15 mins after giving table to take order and another one hour to serve the food.

I loved my stay!
I had an amazing stay. From check-in to check-out, every staff person I encountered was exceptionally welcoming and helpful! The room was spacious and all of the "little" extras were so appreciated! Water in the fridge and on the bathroom counter daily, coffee and tea in the room, etc. Upon check-in and getting luggage to my room the bellman showed me all of the features of the room so I would be comfortable with the lights, security, etc. Marvelous stay! I had room service. multiple times during my stay as I was there on business and the food was great! Restaurant service was exceptional as well. Safety protocols and security were highly visible and greatly appreciated! Highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel. Excellent service. My shirt was stolen though. Had the shirt dry cleaned. Hung it in the closet. Checked out the next day and forgot it in the closet. Called back after 2 hours of checking out and I was told there was no shirt in the closet. So please make sure you don’t forget anything in this hotel because it will be stolen.

The Lagos Marriott Hotel surpassed our expectations by a country mile. From the security to the porters, receptionists, housekeeping and bar staff - it was all smiles and politeness. They made our stay welcoming and pleasurable. Staff were readily available to answer queries and offer helpful information whenever needed. The food on offer was simply sumptuous; from the buffet at the Koriko & Co to the Azure Grill and Wakame - we were presented with a smorgasbord of delicious food and drinks in a conducive atmosphere. The Lagos Marriott Hotel is a beacon of excellence in hospitality. The first impression was superb, and we are sure to return soon.

It was a pleasant and restful stay. The ambiance was lovely and the surrounding streets relatively quiet, for Lagos. The food is great and my spa experience at Isade, excellent. I was pleasantly impressed by the level of security on site and felt safe.

Arrived at the hotel about 4pm with my 9 months baby and staff said they were overbooked and they room was still been cleaned. There was no help or comfort offered for the inconvenience.

1. The hotel is very spacious, airy and well designed. 2. The staff very courteous, always had a smile and greeted me every morning. I was especially impressed by Chika at Noriko who went over and beyond expectations to ensure that my Mum and I had a pleasant Mother Day's lunch. Cecilia in the Idapo Lounge was another revelation, very nice and polite and I must also mention Joseph, Joy and Blessing at Reception who all made my stay a very pleasant one.
