Charming French provincial stone house with big garden - only problem was that check-in normally starts at 4.30pm but the owner very kindly opened up the premises for us at 3.00pm and so we had time to walk to the nearby town of Touros - a mediaeval gem in the heart of Burgundy. Although the churches and a remarkable hospital museum are worth seeing, we were most impressed by the two Michelin-starred restaurants and we ate at Les Terrasses which was absolutely superb. Even better, the chef drove us home because we couldn’t get a taxi!

Nobody there. No room.

We never stayed here. We tried to phone the hotel starting just before 17.00 to inform we would be slightly later. Nobody picked up the phone. We googled for another number. Also no reaction. I left voice mails. No reaction. Neighbours tried to contact them. No reaction. At the end we had to stay in another hotel twice the price. We involved the helpdesk of hotels.com also with no success. We demand a refund plus a credit for the extra hotel costs.

Sehr schade, dass das Hotel verfällt!

Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet, allerdings das Bad sehr primitiv, Türen schließen nicht. Der Empfang nett, aber ein ungepflegter Mann mit wenig Zähnen. Wir blieben, denn es war nur eine Nacht. Jedoch der Frühstücksraum ein ungepflegtes Wohnzimmer mit großem Tisch. Auch wenn die Croissants frisch waren , Butter auch, traute ich mich nur die noch ungeöffnete Marmelade zu essen. Der Besitzer tut mir eher leid, weil er es nicht mehr schafft, Gäste zu betreuen, brauch eher selbst Hilfe. Leider nicht , trotz der romantischen Zimmern und dem schönen Park nicht zu empfehlen. Schade drum. Helft den Vermieter!!!!

Das Zimmer war sauber, praktisch und ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Wirt war an beiden Tagen in verwahrlostem Zustand: zwischen T-Shirt und rutschender kurzer Haose zeigt sich sein nackter Bauch. Die Hose war im Bereich der Gesäßspalte derart verschmutzt, dass an eine Inkontinenz zu denken war. Der Frühstsücksraum war unordentlich und unsauber. Wir haben uns geekelt, hatten aber keine Wahl, als dort zu übernachten.
