"Great hotel in an awesome location. Lots to do on site (swimming, water slides, beach, yoga, table tennis…etc all free, then lots of paid for options such as pastel, mountain biking, tennis, golf). Location was great, lots of opportunity to explore historic sites and natural beauty….not to mention local culture. Lots of on site restaurants but some of the local ones in Gialova were brilliant. "

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the

or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. ...

"Luxury hotel with panoramic views over Navarino Bay. If you play golf it’s surrounded by golf courses. If you want to swim in the sea the beach is part of the hotel and sheltered and clean with all the facilities close at hand - they give you a device to call for service so if you are feeling really lazy you don’t need to get off your sun lounger! The spa is excellent too. "

"Hidden gem in the Peloponnes! Lovely

; long enough to swim a few laps. Quiet rural area just 10 minute drive to Methoni and the beach there. Gorgeous self-catering accommodation (they’ve started doing breakfast hampers too); the villas arent on top of each other so you’ve got a very decent amount of privacy. And incredibly kind, warm and welcoming staff. We’ve stayed there three times already and will definitely be back. "

and huge verandas in each room. Looks pretty new and everything is in very smart condition and rooms very well equipped. Methoni castle and town are a pleasant 25 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive) through countryside and then along the sea shore. There are plenty of good restaurants in Methoni and the hotel gave us very good recommendations. "
