"Receptionist was extremely friendly and I was able to check in early. There are 2 places to eat on the island and the attached restaurant was amazing! Best fish cakes and mustard pickles to date. The lodge was dated but clean which is what I look for."

"The staff were excellent. Friendly and efficient. The motel is older but a nice renovation had taken place. The TV Is excellent if you subscribe to multiple streaming services. If not, there is not alot of current selection in the way of news or sports. The morning breakfast provided fresh continental selections. Overall it a great value for the cost."

Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa

"We loved our spacious and very comfortable room in the old section, and the breakfasts were consistently good. We ate dinner in dining room one night and it was good. Marta was so helpful to arrange a last minute 6 night stay, without us having to move rooms. Digby is such a gem, but you can tell they are not investing in making improvements while the property is for sale. The pool was freezing cold, with the heater broken. Although my massage at the spa was good, the massage table and room were bare bones. The computer in the lobby is broken. However with all that said, it is a relaxing place, staff like Alan and Marta made us feel at home. And the location is so convenient to many places."

"Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching on Brier island!"

"Clean room with fridge and microwave. We had our dogs and were very happy to have the little park across the road! My only critique of the motel is the BRIGHT lights in front of the motel rooms. The curtains were no match for the glaring bright lights shining in the front window."
